Every person seeks to attain a state of consciousness that is independent of their physical circumstance and it is important to have the appropriate guidance at that journey's onset.  Sweet Ivory identifys and provides opportunities for growth within the community that do not stretch the limits of that community, but instead help it to expand its boundary and horizon. 

By forming alliances, facilitating the funding process or simply rolling up our sleeves and getting dirty, we get involved!  Sweet Ivory's members volunteer their time and, in many cases, resources to implement programs that help to remove the self imposed restrictions that can create cycles of poverty which affect disenfranchised individuals.
